Auschwitz: A Crucible of Hell

In 1944, Helen and her family were transported to Auschwitz-Birkenau, the largest and most notorious of the Nazi concentration camps. There, they were subjected to unspeakable horrors: starvation, disease, torture, and the constant threat of death.
